Masala Crua is a Portuguese brand of artisanal cosmetics, herbal medicine and natural crafts, created in a remote land, somewhere in the mountains of Portugal.<\/p>\n

All our skincare products are handmade in a small artisanal laboratory, using slow and careful processes. Each batch is slightly different, reflecting the uniqueness of natural ingredients, and crafted with full attention and care.<\/p>\n

We are deeply committed to the earth, honoring what she gives us and taking care with what we return. Our products are sustainable, using minimal water and plastic, and made with ingredients that are safe for soils and ecosystems.<\/p>\n

My name is In\u00eas. I am a Portuguese woman, a natural skincare producer, and an herbalism student, committed to reconnecting with this earth every day and learning to live more consciously with her.<\/p>\n

After spending most of my life in the city, I chose to leave my comfort zone and explore a different way of living. I move between the Alentejo region and Serra da Estrela, reconnecting with my Portuguese ancestral roots and the rhythms of this land.<\/p>\n

I started MasalaCRUA in 2017, dedicating the first years to studying, researching, and testing all the formulas I create. I am blessed for being able to share this knowledge and create a space for more conscious care of our bodies, while taking responsibility for our impact on this nature that we are also a part of.<\/p>\n

Every creation is carefully prepared with natural ingredients, many of which I grow in my garden or forage nearby. I favor slow, cold processes that preserve the main properties of the herbs.<\/p>\n

I am committed to the plant path, developing products that support autonomy in health care and encourage a preventive approach to well-being.<\/p>\n

MasalaCRUA is not only about natural care products – it is also a platform for mixed creations. I design natural jewelry from avocado seeds, crystals, and other natural materials. Each piece is unique, made with intention and devotion, and meant as a power object or amulet of protection.<\/p>\n

I hope my creations reach you with the care and love that went into making them.<\/p>\n

\n\nA mix of different creations.\nCrua is the portuguese word for raw.\n\nNatural creations inspired by mother earth, a reconnection with our roots.\nA place to explore and share.\n\nMy name is In\u00eas, I am a Portuguese woman born and raised in Porto. Most of my life I\u2019ve lived in the city but some years ago I started to travel and soon found out that my place was around nature.\n\nIn 2020 I finally settled in the beautiful Alentejo, south of Portugal, where I started to reconnect with my roots, with all the beautiful nature and all the beings that surround us.\n\nI have been researching and experimenting natural care products since 2016 and I love to be able to share this knowledge and open up a space for a more conscious care of our body and for taking responsibility for our input in nature.\n\nIn 2021 a good friend, Dean, joined the project and together we are making it grow in a beautiful and conscious way, keeping the magic of a small scale business.\n\nEvery creation is carefully prepared with natural products, many of the herbs that we use are collected from our gardens or from our friends and all of the infused oils are slowly made by us. We prefer slow cold processes that allow to keep the main properties of the herbs.\n\nRecently I also started to explore bio jewellery. Hand carving avocado seeds is a recent passion inspired by my father, who made stunning wood sculptures. When I\u2019m carving I enter in this meditation state and I\u2019m flying away\u2026 it\u2019s the moment where I\u2019m more free to create without expectations.
