To add to the moisturizing characteristics of the olive oil, the organic cold pressed\u00a0<strong>coconut oil<\/strong> provides the cleansing and firming properties and creates a bubbly lather.\r\n\r\n<strong>Shea butter<\/strong> is\u00a0a fat extracted from the nut of the African shea tree and is mostly used for its healing, protecting and\u00a0moisturizing properties.\u00a0It has a high concentration of linoleic and oleic acids, which provide conditioning properties and produce gentle and mild soaps.\u00a0It also has a high content of unsaponifiables (additional components that don't completely convert into soap, fully keeping its properties), which means it\u2019s an excellent skin-loving ingredient in cold process soap.\r\n\r\n<strong>Castor oil<\/strong> is a luxurious oil extracted from the seeds of the castor oil plant.\u00a0It has a thick and viscous texture and a slight odor. In cold process soap, it contributes to large bubbles and is known for its cleansing properties. It feels similar to glycerin with a thick and sticky texture acting as a humectant on the skin.\r\n\r\n<strong>Calendula<\/strong> is widely known for its\u00a0anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial\u00a0and healing properties, making it an amazing plant to treat\u00a0rashes, scratches, eczema, psoriasis, chapped skin, insect bites and damaged skin. Natural soap infused with Calendula olive oil is considered to be a very effective herbal remedy for skin problems.\r\n\r\n<strong>Honey<\/strong> is a natural humectant, which means it absorbs moisture from the air. Humectants are great for the skin, as they can help the skin retain moisture. It also contains antioxidants and natural sugars which can increase the lather of cold process soap.\r\n\r\n<strong>HOW TO USE<\/strong>\r\n\r\n1.Wet the soap bar.\r\n\r\n2.Rub the soap in the hands or directly on the body.\r\n\r\n3.Always leave the soap on top of a sponge or a soap holder with holes for the water to go through, making sure that it dries well between uses. This is the most important step for the soap to last a longer time. If it doesn't dry properly, it becomes soft and every time it comes off a lot more quantity than needed.\r\n\r\n<strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong>\r\n\r\nExtra virgin olive oil infused in calendula (sodium olivate), bio cold pressed coconut oil (sodium cocoate), calendula water infusion, shea butter (sodium shea butterate), castor oil (sodium castorate), honey, pink clay, sodium lactate, dried calendula flowers.\r\n\r\nCruelty free.\r\n100% biodegradable.\r\nNo synthetic fragrance or colour.\r\nNo toxic chemicals.\r\n\r\nAll the soaps are made in small batches in an artesanal process.
