WHAT MAKES MINERAL SUNSCREEN A BETTER CHOICE

Mineral sunscreens work differently from chemical sunscreens: instead of being absorbed into the skin, they form a protective layer on the skin that reflects UVA and UVB rays. They offer gentle and effective sun protection and are especially suitable for sensitive or delicate skin types thanks to their mild, skin-friendly nature.

Mineral filters like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are considered safer for the body and more environmentally friendly, especially for marine ecosystems like coral reefs, compared to many chemical filters that can harm the environment and long-term skin health.

In our mineral sunscreen formulas, we use only non-nano zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. Their larger particle size allows them to remain on the surface of the skin, where they effectively reflect UV rays while minimizing absorption. Non-nano minerals should be preferred because they reduce unnecessary exposure of the body to particulate ingredients.

aqua (water), caprylic/capric triglyceride, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, cetearyl alcohol, cetearyl glucoside, olea europaea (olive) oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, haematococcus pluvialis (green algae) extract, oryzanol, tocopherol (vitamin E), benzyl alcohol/dehydroacetic acid (natural preservative), lavandula augustifolia oil.

HOW TO USE

Spread evenly: like any mineral sunscreen, it may leave a slight white tone at first. Blend thoroughly, and it will disappear.

Reapply as needed: for continuous protection, reapply every 2 hours, or after swimming, sweating, or towel-drying.
