Castor oil is a luxurious oil extracted from the seeds of the castor oil plant. It has a thick and viscous texture and a slight odor. It feels similar to glycerin with a thick and sticky texture acting as a humectant on the hair.

Hydrolyzed wheat proteins are proteins with low molecular weight and size which are easily absorbed into the hair shaft helping to keep it hydrated and also adding to the volume and shine of the hair. It can also help to repair the weakened or broken bonds of the hair.

Vitamin E is an antioxidant whose main function is to nourish the scalp and hair strands, keeping them healthier. It acts as a conditioner, helping to hydrate and rejuvenate dry, flaky scalps. When applied all over the hair, it can help increase shine and prevent hair breakage. The antioxidant properties of vitamin E can also help to reduce the level of capillary oxidative stress, a process in which our body is no longer able to fight the effects of free radicals, linked to factors such as pollution, UV rays, lack of sleep, etc., which causes the breakdown of hair follicles (hair roots).

Geranium essential oil is extracted from the entire geranium plant and was used as a beautifying agent in Ancient Egyptian times to promote healthy-looking hair and skin. It helps conditioning and  hydrating the hair giving it a more silky and smooth feeling.
